so what was the very FIRST thing you photoshopped?

I'm moving this to the Designer's Cafe.

This was mine, my very first Xanga layout:




Notice how....crap...everything is.

It was a banner for the band I'm in.

Well at least its the first I started from scratch, my first ever I don't have anymore.



Notice the suck.

Difficult to read font, too much contrast, etc.

dang! i don't have it on me because i probably deleted it after. lol.
i believe it was a banner of somesort. it was probably of someone famous. it came out okay, but it wasn't my best.

then after that i kept making a bunch of avatars. lmao.

my first layout wasn't that bad either. :]

i deleted mine already
but i made it on photoshop ELEMENTS
it was a mostly gradient wallpaper with some brushes and random shapes and yeah. like a preschooler could do it

haha, for some reason it always makes me grin when first timers go absoluetly nuts with the default brushes in photoshop and slap on billions of stars!

but my first myspace layout is the LOVE layout on my list...which seems to have most favourites, and i hate it. for the image:
- the colours are awful.
- it's way too bright.
- beyond too girly.

Thanks, it started out as a pencil tool drawing of my desk, and laptop. Then it got out of hand when I found the liquify tool.

my picture and some experiments i've done..hehehe

and the background was fire, iv'e learned here in the internet.

Well, I kind of deleted mine and it's in my old computer which is in the dump now. My first one was 5-6 years ago and sadly, it was like a neopet guild layout. LOL. Neopets was a trend back in the days, LOL. Neopets actually made me influence to work with PSP7 (I had PSP7/8 and PS7 on old computer. Then I had PSP7 on this current computer, but then I needed space so I took out PSP7 but still have PS7) and I did. It was crappy though, I know that for sure. I putted like a bunch of pets together, add some text and little brushes. I know for a fact that, I was struggling on my first because people had really cool designs and I didn't know how to do it. It turns out, they are downloadable brushes and I went on a downloadable brushes spree. Hah.

i dont remember now, it was probably a bunch of crappy brushes.

This was one of the three actual layouts that I made for Xanga.

My very very first one:
-bad green color choices
-over use of scanlines
-simple picture on left and div on right setup

I barely use photoshop or do coding so my skills haven't dramatically changed.

Well for a start I only have ps elements...

And I just cant get the hang of it!

I can do everything to do with coding and stuff but I just cant get a hang of the design.

I wish I had like a design partner so I could do the coding and they would do the design.

It makes me sad to see your first things being better than my best now.

skylite, you should go back & edit all your posts with pictures in quotes and take out the img tags. you might get warned.
