I'm guessing yes, becuase you have a log of it,

Odd. Unless it was a coincidence that someone saw you viewing those topics (if you were visible) and did whatever with them.
I don't really feel violated. Meh.

Lol, no. Well, maybe one did, but it had been closed for years I see no need for it to have been deleted... I understand why it was deleted, but I call mod abuse.
pandora
Apr 4 2008, 10:02 PM
I'm not sure if I'm thinking about the same threads you are but I deleted a bunch of my old threads (ones that i started myself) that were being bumped for no reason. This isnt mod abuse, to me, because we allow members to request for their own topics to be deleted all the time.
If you're talking about threads that someone else started, maybe you aren't looking hard enough or something.

and just to be clear, even if a thread is deleted, the link does not get broken for the admins because it leads us straight to the trashcan.

Yeah those were the links to the thread that magically vanished.
Elba
Apr 5 2008, 01:53 AM
Trish, they were there 24 hours ago...
If they're not in the trashcan, then someone deleted them from the trashcan as well--which would be someone who has access to the trashcan.

*shrug* i dont know if things can actually be deleted from the trashcan, but i dont care anymore lol. believe what you wanna believe, and call mod abuse or w/e because im not a mod anymore starting tonight.

For the record, I can't find it either (the three hot bitches thread). I'm so sorry if this sounds like a retarded request, but what were the exact words? lol I'm searching for "three" and "bitches" (can't search for "hot"). The links don't work for me either.
It appears that you can delete "trash", by the way. I've never experimented with that, but I just looked and the moderating option is there. Before anyone suggests/accuses Trish of deleting trash, I see things in there that are far worse (and specifically related to Trish) than some cute photos of you guys that are still accessible.
Tung - I would understand and wouldn't object at all if you would like to make a feedback topic regarding deleting posts and topics. It's fair for you to do that, certainly. Bottom line though, and I'm going to be frank, I think the person that you were most concerned about no longer has the ability to moderate topics, hence no longer has the ability to delete anything but her own material.

It's the fact that the thread is gone, which makes it suspicious. Considering the
fact that the topic was
harmless and it was made by me quite a while ago, I thought that admins/mods aren't supposed to delete those kinds of threads without permission of the topic creator. Although I am not accusing you (

Rebs), but whoever has the
incentive to do so obviously did so for personal reasons that should have been addressed to me and Elba.
EDIT - Elba, we'll just do it again next Sunday, but we'll be two hot bitches, since
it was originally that way anyway it'll only be two of us this time.

Wow. Way to be blunt. Too bad it can't be two hot bitches and 2 sexy guys (Tony and I)
Rebecca it's understandable. Thanks for understanding what I was saying a while back in Moderator Performances though.

Wow the Three Hot Bitches thread is totally gone. Even I can't google cache it. Usually it ALWAYS cache's old or missing topics, but this time it's long gone.
That topic was the first topic I ever posted in when I made my cB comeback in August 2007, and my first drama incident.

I'm going to miss it so much.

Can I just ask, if that's true, then why do you think it would be deleted maliciously, and what would anyone be hiding evidence of?
If we're so obessesed with this ridiculous crime or whatever, could someone at least offer a motif of some kind that is a little less abstract?

There wasn't anything wrong with the Three Hot Bitches thread James. It was just a normal picture thread like any other. It just happens to be deleted and nobody seems to know where it went. And whoever deleted it, never told Elba or Christina (the topic starter) why they closed it, or ask if they can close and deleted it.

Apr 6 2008, 05:59 PM
Motive, not recurring theme, James.
I'm disinterested in this matter, but I think it's worth trying to find out what happened, because it's strange and not exactly normal for threads to delete themselves.
The-March-Hare
Apr 6 2008, 06:01 PM
Oh, bugger.
Motive, then.
It's been explained that there really isn't a whole lot that anyone can do to find out what happened. I suggest we all let it go. Seems unlikely, but it's my suggestion.

This could have been one of the things that disappeared in the forum destruction which happened during the Suzzette incident. There's no way of knowing, but in any case, the topic is gone and neither I nor Rebecca has been able to find it. Also, considering that Trish is no longer on staff, there's really no logical use in questioning her over it; so I suppose discussion over this can't really go anywhere conclusive, right?
Tung
Apr 6 2008, 06:07 PM
Yeah Dani's right, but the thread was there a few days ago, and not gone after the Suz thing.
There isn't a point in accusing her since she isn't on staff anymore, but this will just make more people have conspiracy theories. We want the truth lol.

Anyway, I just think that if you do something, you should own up to it. She could have just told us she didn't want those pictures of her on cB and that she was going to delete them. That would have been nice--delete the pics, not the thread.
