i know there are already topics about e-mail forms and such, but i'm totally lost.

i don't want to use one of those automatic ones that generate the code for you. they all either take you to a "confirmation page" from the website (unprofessional, IMO), or bring up the microsoft outlook thing to send it.

so, my last resort is php, right? if not, let me know. shifty.gif
but, searching around for a few weeks for tutorials and how it works, how to use it/install it, i'm lost. just, lost.

generally, i need to know how to create a simple e-mail form for my website, and how to upload it and such. any help is appreciated, whether it's links or personal help.

Try this maybe:

http://www.roscripts.com/AJAX_contact_form-144.html

It is a form that works on AJAX and allows the user to submit their e-mail, click send, and the confirmation appears immediately without refreshing or changing pages.

ok, great, so, codes and such provided. the part i'm lost on is how to use these codes...uploading/installing, whatever. what programs i need (if any), and so on...

this is simpler, http://scripts.inexistent.org/
