Abortion is murder, as Paperplane said, if your heart stops beating you wouldn't be alive, a fetus' heart is beating, so it is alive, and aborting it is murder. It's that simple. If all these people can say "It's my body, it's my choice," it was your choice to open your legs and get pregnant, so deal with it. How fair is it to take the life of an innocent child, the result of your actions, and make them pay for it? It's your body? Well, you're now sharing it with someone else. And as for "not being able to live outside of the womb and surviving?" a newborn baby, without their mother, would not be able to survive on it's own, and depends on it's mother to care for it in the same ways they did in the womb. You all will understand when you have your own children. I'm sure you won't think of them as parasites then.

if you have proof that she's done these things-proof she was prego, proof she actually tried commiting suicide and didn't just put herself (or a family member put her) into rehab-great, dig deeper. if not, i say you ditch her...there's nothing worse that could ruin /your/ life by staying with a pathological liar (that is, if she's one), especially if they refuse help. once again, from my personal experience.

There are plenty of pro-choice mothers. But it is your body. It's ridiculously unfair that men can have sex without getting pregnant (yes yes biology blah blah blah blah); it's your choice to have sex (assuming it's consensual), but it's not your choice to get impregnated. As you well know.

Now I wouldn't have an abortion if I got pregnant, but I'd be f**king miserable. But, I know my mom would help me take care of it. A lot of people don't have that, and I don't know if I could same if that weren't the case.

Then don't have sex because of the repercussions. That's simple, it's your choice to have sex knowin that the repercussion is having a child whether you like it or not because it's not your choice, it just happens. Unless you're on a mission to have a child, then obviously you're ready and mentally/emotionally prepared for a child... the PROPER way.

Of course we have no choice as to whether or not we get pregnant, but we know there's the risk. That's the whole gamble of having sex. There's always a chance. Is it fair that men can get away with not getting pregnant or dealig with the consequences? No. I'm not pro-life because I'm a mother, I'm pro-life because I don't believe in murder. If people want to chose, I won't stop them, if my best friend told me she was going to have an abortion, I would do my best to convince her otherwise but would support her regardless. I just can't help but think it's insensitive to say it's not murder, because in every sense of the word, it is. What this girl, Jackie, is doing, is a slow and exaggerated murder of 4 innocent babies.

It's our bodies, true, which mean it's our choice to do with it what we want. I fell in love, I did what i felt was right at the time. I'm blessed with a beautiful son. Is it hard? Yes. But it's a body, a connection you and your child share. If abortion wasn't legal, I'm sure people would be much more careful in that sense. They weren't ready to be mothers? Then don't have sex. And it doesn't matter if you're 16 or 60, you are never prepared to be a mother, never prepared for the feelings it will cause, the love you will feel, or the lengths you will go to in order to protect your children.

ok, i really think, and i'm not a doc or anything, but it really does sound like she is seeking attention but also pity from everyone. what's depressing is the fact that her friends are "helping" her with the abortion by drinking with her. instead of either telling her parents about her 4 pregnancies and methods of abortion, they were condoning it and assisting. talk about a dr. kevorkian session.

i seriously think that this teen is actually lacking affection and attention at home. no person would ever have 4 pregnancies and never see a medical physician for each. i personally think that she has been lying about the pregnancies only to gain some friends to hang out and drink with, and feel sorry for her.

speaking of the drinking, someone refer her to AA. if she feels she has to drink just to "abort" a pregnancy, then i don't think she was pregnant to begin with.

Thats horrible! Well, out of all honesty I think I'd keep the child. I could never bring myself to abort because it wasn't their fault that they were conceived. At this age, I'm in no position to support them so I think I'd put them up for adoption and put them into the right hands.

Well we're an all girls CATHOLIC school, so they teach us mostly abstinence only, but there have been a few speakers who talk about safe sex and what to do in situations if you were pregnant and your options.
