It depends on my mood. Sometimes I'm feeling sophisticated and I'll fold each ply and make it into a swan, then wipe. Sometimes I take the entire roll and wipe it for a one time use.

I'd rather not have a blob of toiler paper because it might clog the toilet and then other people will know that I dropped the bomb that broke the toilet.

I always try to fold in the most ergonomically efficient angle possible. Keeping a protractor next to the toilet comes in handy for this (don't use the protractor to wipe, though).

If I'm at a friend's house, I just use the shower curtains because I consider it rude to use up somebody else's toilet paper.

i used to be a big wad. but then i got yelled at when i was just learning how to wipe my butt myself, and they made me fold it.

It depends how much time I have on the toilet. Usually, its a big blob of messness but when I have time, I fold them on the lines.
