Ok I really hate bullshit clients. Some guy just IMed me, on my personal AIM account, and I was on a conference call with another client and a developer so it took me a while to respond.

And yeah, he linked me to that myspaceownage site too. It sucked, and it still does.

A couple weeks or days ago, I can't remember. He IM'ed me too. I told him I don't do requests, but he kept bugging me.

Occasionally, he would IM me when I'm not here. When I am here, he signs off. It's annoying seeing that IM when I got on the computer when I told him I don't have the time.

omg, he actually im'ed me asking me to do something and that he would pay me. so i told him i would have it done in a few days because you know, I HAVE A LIFE! so then he says, no i want it done now. and then i tell him look, i told you i can have it done in a few days now if you can't wait until then well then find yourself another designer.

what irritated me was the fact he said, oh if you know photoshop really well, it shouldn't take but a few hours. and then mentions that i was his last resort because he asked everyone else on cb but no one wanted to help him.

So this guy contacted me a while ago saying he wanted a DIV layout made, and now he says he wants a standard. AFTER the DIV and everything for it has been made/coded. Its not even that he didnt like it but he just doesn't feel like having to get used to a DIV. Ugh.

you should charge him for both.

Wow, what a very impatient client you guys have there. I feel sorry for anyone that was willing to work for him. I did one project, for this one guy Liam. I coded his entire myspace profile, all he had to do was create an image for the DIV. I was just on his site yesterday, he's back to a myspace default.

Trillian can do a lot of automated stuff, I was looking to see if it could send this guy an automessage telling him I won't work with him if he were to message me, that way, I wouldn't have to deal with him

Ps. Were you serious when you said that $2,000 was too low?

The circle I run in, the designers I network with, and myself included all cater to mostly high-end clients. Since we do this for a living, and have to schedule our time carefully (to meet deadlines we already have) we just filter out the bullshit and low budget clients. So yeah, sometimes $2000 is not enough to perk our interests, because we could be spending that time working for someone who will pay 150% of that.


But sometimes I will work for $2000 if I have a lot of time, or if I have a particular bill I know I'm going to have to pay soon - but I can usually sense when someones just talking out of their asses, and I just didn't like this guy's attitude, nor would I have felt comfortable pawning him off on one of my friends, so partly, I just said that to scare him off.

Yea I made that site for him >_> eightohhthree one, mostly just the mysql stuff and all the php and then I was done.

I did it for free though, he left me alone thank god.

I didn't refer him to you though, I would never wish for someone to have to deal with him >_> haha, I told him to clear up his attitude if he wanted people to work for him in the real world and to learn some manners. I see he hasn't yet xD

O.o he IMed me like 5 times before and did the same thing, I got really mad cause I told him I had homework and he wouldn't shut up about wanting it finished in 30 minutes when it was 11 at night and I was tired.

lol Hes just really immature and doesn't know anything about the real world or business. I would suggest to anyone that doesn't want to be bothered by him to just go ahead and block him from aim XD
