I made this the other day, and I think I want to make it into a myspace div somehow. I don't know what else to add it though? I'm having a creative block or something _unsure.gif

After some changes:
absinthe
this is quite a nice blend. _smile.gif

i'd say it was done. you can add some text.

(and i thought i'd just insert that i'm not feeling the black lines. they're too strong and dark compared to the rest of the image. you might want to try a lower opacity.)
GunsNRachel
Thanks. You we're right about the opacity thing. I changed it down to 60% and it looks so much nicer. It kinda blends with the blend now happy.gif

I feel like I should put something behind it or.. something to make it look more like a layout though.

i really like this graphic, both the orginal and the "changes" one are nice. i love how you blended the images. maybe if you rounded out the edges and added space for content you'd have a pretty awesome layout.
absinthe
I like the lines much better at the lower opacity. Fits better.

Anyway, a couple more comments, I'm not sure that the text positioning and effect you used were the best for this image, and I'm not feeling the white textareas.

In terms of making it feel more like a layout, I think what you're missing is a center focus since your blend is so continuous. I'd try maybe adding a cut out of a flower overlayed in with some text (name of your site, layout name, etc).

If you take a look at some other websites, you'll see what I mean.

Alright, I'll work on that.

Innn the mean time, if anyone has any thoughts on this: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endid=280854437 let me know. What should I do for the background? Everything I try seems to make it look dark and.. weird.
vintage-toile
mm i agree to move the font about a little.
and the beige beneath the image doesn't really work, its not "vintage" colours enough to match the image..if this makes sense?
but if you make a layout out of it pick a colour from the graphic, and just work with it.
this is very nice blending.
GunsNRachel
I have no idea what to use for the font. I was thinking of something clean, straight lined.. yea. I don't know if that would look right though?
vintage-toile
this font does work, its very nice and...vogue?
but its a bit too sharp, so perhaps make it slightly lighter/more opaque?

I'm going to close this since I see you've completed your layout, submitted it, and had it accepted.

PM me if you'd like this reopened.
