Oh, we have little pageants every year to crown Mr and Mrs BNS. It's nothing really competitive though... just schoolmates making fools out of themselves all in good fun. =]

My school has a Mr. Plano every year. It's supposedly quite entertaining, but I've never been to it.

That sounds really exciting, in a silly way.
My school doesn't have one of those.
Not really sure about my city.
It seems pretty fun, though. I would definitely go to my school's if they had one.

Ohh, that sounds pretty fun... what's your talent?
At my school, it's a duo kind of thing and it just takes place during our 45-min lunch break. This year, the theme was "tight & bright", and it included a walk-off, a questions period (very very boring), a duet song competition, and a dance-off. Everyone went kind of crazy and did their thing. =]

We have a Mr. ___ at our school, yea. The "pageant" is used to raise money for Make-A-Wish, plus it's all in good fun. I didn't go last year, but I might this/next year if I know any of the nominees.

At my former school Albany State University they had scholarship pageants sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC.; they had a Mr. Crimson & Creme; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. had a Mr. Pink & Green; they also have Gentlemen of ASU which is the homecoming court & it's basically Mr. ASU & 1st & 2nd attendant & the band hosted a pageant to determine Mr. Band & Mr. Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity, Inc.

at our school its a HUGE deal.
only the seniors do it, there are eight of them usually, and they each have a girl as a coordnatior (either senior/junior). there's always a theme, and a winner and everything. they practice for MONTHS and do a dance and talents and make videos and have a questionaire and formal in their tuxedos with their moms. they do it to raise money for the premature babies.. it's hilarious. i love it.
its always in may, and they stake out the wholleee auditiorium from seven to eleven on a friday night. it's pretty epic.
