People are like, forever trying to make good first impressions. And I understand for job interviews and such. But like, in social situations? I hate when other people make like, totally amazing first impressions, so you think they're like, super cool, and start getting attached, and then a week later, they stop seeming so great.

I think it's kinda more meaningful when like, at first you think the person is kinda lame. And they prove themselves or something.

They can't be that lame or otherwise you don't want to hang out with them nomatter what.
But I get what you're saying, and i hate that, cause if they're the type of person that changes just to make other people like you, that is sooo low low low lowwwwww.

It's called a "facade". People play this just to get into relationships. Living fake lives.

i agree with you. i think its more meaningful when someone who you think isnt all that great turns out to be an amazing or totally different person than from what you originally thought. and about people who "try" to always make good impressions... i think they set themselves up for failure. they seem to be such great people and turn out to be big disappointments. _dry.gif

i think that a person should just be them no matter what. yeah sometimes it happens when a person doesn't like how you are when they 1st meet u, but if they're cool then they'll accept you for who you are.
