HOW IS IT?

I'm gonna go see it with my friends on Wednesday, and was wondering if it's a good movie or not.

watch the original first.

i don't like how in the previews, they show the lady saying, "what did you do to her?!" which basiclaly just kills the story. the twist in the original is that you don't know he did anything until the end.

and i loved the original. it was one of (if not my fav) asian horror flick 'cause it included a pretty good storyline and ending -quite different from the grudge or the ring and all the others.

My sister watched the Chinese version of it, which she told me, was much more scarier than the recently released English version. I'm probably going to end up watching Shutter online since recently released movies haven't been worth my money to watch in theatres. Tell us all how it goes, mkay? :D.

^ the original was thai. there was a remake in chinese? if so, i haven't seen it, and i would like to ;o

Oops. My mistake! It was the Thai version. My sister told me it was in Chinese.

Asian horror films > English horror films.

And I just read that Shutter (English) sucked, and that the Asian one was better. xD.

^ o darn, i really wanted to see other adaptations of it.

even if the english one gets bad reviews, i'm still interested in seeing the ending. i'm curious as to how they would "americanize" it and fit it to the new storyline.

i think the main reason why asian horror > american adaptations is 'cause the stories themselves are very asian. america's not afraid of ghosts; they're more concerned with actual people who would be able to do them harm.

tell me how good it is, i've watched the ring and the grudge...so far, the grudge is my favorite

the previews for this really scared me, especially when the girl's head like fell backwards

i still want to see it though.

To me it looks kinda dumb But I also thought The Grudge was dumb... so I don't know.

lol yeah i thought it wasn't all that scary. But then again, I thought Zathura was the creepiest movie ever..

Shutter was a waste of my money. I WANT REFUND.
