So I just saw this on World News on ABC and now I am seeing it online.

It might of been here a while back in stores such as circuit city but now they are unoffficially saying okay to haggling. Due to a recession in the economy, these companys are saying its okay to haggle. Usually they allow lowering when you bring in proof that an item costs less at a different store.

My parents are going to buy a new tv and Imma try haggling with best buy when we buy that new flat screen. I will update this if all goes well.

So like, it's not a price-match, right? I know bestbuy used to do price matches -- don't know if they still do -- but now they are unofficially saying you can haggle for a lower price than competing stores just so they can sell it? SHWEET.

my parents always haggle when it comes to computers and anything else that's big, ie - a flatscreen/speakers/a whole theatre entertainment system.

i don't know about haggling for some $20 headphones though ;x that's kinda tacky.

Unfortunately only way to stop the recession is for us to spend money in order to boost our economy. Problem with that is, Bush's stupid ass has been spending 12 billion american dollars every month on his stupid fake ass lousy oppressive war so we're actually running out of money (corporations are spending more than they're making to fund this stupid ass war) and finally the American people are realizing that debt is BAD. Well bad for humanity, since it keeps us as slaves to the god of money. But because people are smart and not getting into huge debt and saving their money, the economy keeps going further down the pipes, slowly but surely.

Our Federal Government is a Capitalist government. And that capitalist government needs us to be in debt in order to survive. Destroy the Federal Government and it's capitalist agenda(s), please.

The money you guys receive in tax return and the "stimulus act" return... save it, all of it. This is a way to say a big, "F UCK YOU" to capitalism.

I guess if it helps people spend money shrug.gif It's benefitting the buyer more than the company.
