seriously, well this has also been on my mind and this has nothing to do with the topic but why does createblog have hi5, wordpress and movabletype when thats gets no action at all? I mean I bet vampirefreaks layouts would have a better response than the unactive ones just my opinion

Anyways, my inspiration for art? Ah well I'm not into digital art as I used to be. I'm a total manga fanatic as well as origami fanatic. In the future when I have more time on my hands (when I'm done with school - uni), I want to make those crazy giant elaborate 3-d origami structures, like the giant crane made with tiny squares folded into a oblong-ish polygonal/triangular shape, all pieced together. Ah well it's kind of difficult to explain but I've seen boxes with the paper and a diagram of how it works


but Deviant art gives me inspiration when I'm bored and looking at some neat stuff. Oh man, some of the deviations I've seen on manga and anime.... Soo good :D

They have forums because they are popular and although many people don't have questions on them there are still some that do. And I've seen more wordpress/moveable type questions than vampirefreaks.

I swear I made a topic like this before....

A lot of mine comes from music and pictures.

Music, traveling, reading, museums, festivals and cultural events and even conversation.

Most of my inspiration when I'm designing is just going and flipping through random sites on the internet. Then I'm inspired to make something as professional and nice looking as theirs. I sometimes just sit and listen to music until a idea hits me. The designs of wallpapers that other people make give me ideas too.

And looking at clouds.

for inspiration in designing, it's pictures, movies, fashion, and just looking at the layout designs of websites that work for me.

- hearing the most WEIRDEST slang.
- inspiration is really everywhere.

I don't know, but I do remember seeing something like this before. I couldn't find it.

Reason being, I'm pretty sure I posted that I go to the CSS Zen Garden a lot for inspiration. There are some seriously breathtaking designs there and it always helps motivate me to make something good when I'm stuck in a rut. :P

I also find inspiration in different colors. There are times when I'll see a set of colors on an ad or even in nature and I'll think, "Those colors look really nice together, I wonder what it'd look like if I used it in a layout.."

Right now, anything out of the ordinary.

For me it could be anything. . .like looking out my window right now, I see a tree in my backyard budding it's first leaves of spring, and it's this vivid green, the wind is blwoing gently, and it's just this tranquil moment that I wouldn't mind capturing and portraying through a graphic of some sort.
Or it could be a song, something someone says, something else someone did that sparked something in my own imagination. Inspiration lives everywhere for me.
