If I make a file that says yada yada yada yada yada yada yada yada and save it as header.php and then make a file that says <?php include("header.php"); ?> and save it as site.html when I open site.php in my browser shouldnt it say yada yada yada yada yada yada yada yada?

Ok well that is a question I asked on yahoo answers and it worked but I have one more question?

Once I did the the file mysite.php was only a text document?

Is it supposed to be like that or what?

Is their soemthing I need to download to be able to view the file properly?

Thanks

Well from the looks of what you did, you weren't staying consistent with the file extension format. Save as php, and upload as php. I don't see why that shouldn't work, just stay consistent. If you're using PHP coding, save it as a PHP file.
