these things really are addicting. I think this image was very dull and boring.. it definitely needed a touchup. I'm very pleased with what I did, I hope you are too. It was my very first retouch, so it's not as great as others. I will point out, that parts of the shirt are jagged .. I have no idea how to fix that _dry.gif Image from her myspace (here)

you could take the original image and brighten it, so the detail in the jeans shows through, then overlay this on the brightened and change the opacity/blending mode?
its much better than the original though.

hmm. didn't think of that. I'm slow heh. thanx!
Eww
I really like it.
The second one is more bright, and the color of her skin is really great. It really gives her a shine _smile.gif

Her shirt is too bright. I agree with making it brighter to liven up her outfit, but it hurts my eyes. Tone it down. Her shirt itself is cool, though. N64 ftw. xD
Heathasm
the color is better BUT you made it alot more choppier than it was

Those are my thoughts.. The color looks MUCH better, but the final product is blurry in some areas (face and hair) and choppy/jagged in others (such as her shirt on the right, and her arms). I thought maybe if I viewed actual size, it would help, but it really didn't.

Other than that, as others have said, I do think you did a good job on the colors. :)
Insurmountable
Its good in some ways, although I don't like how you changed the shirt color, now its too yellow, and doesn't have the neat effect it had in the before picture. It does look choopy/sharp? I guess would be the word for it. In final: her skin looks better.

Nothing you can't do with simple adjustments of levels or brightness/contrast. Her skin almost looks too unrealistic and the shirt is too bright. I would play with more settings in Photoshop in order to achieve the best effects.

I don't have photoshop.

the hair and face look a lot more clear. (thumbsup.gif) but the clothes look like something i could do with a simple paint program ( i dont know if that`s what you were aiming for), but yeah.
