My favorite designer would most definitely be Angeline. My favorite design that was created by her is this one. She's extremely creative and her artwork just pops out from every designer that I've seen so far. Whitney (MissHygienic)'s designs aren't half bad as well, and her layouts are great as well. Oh and of course Dani! :). These are my upmost top three favorite designers.

to be hones they all have different strengths and weaknesses, and post in different areas...
fainaru has always been a favourite of mine.

anyone but pandora. that chick sucks at layouts, she needs to gtfo and go do something she's actually good at. every time she makes a layout she steals shit. for instance, go look at her latest submitted layouts, check that background and then go to my cb profile and see if you notice anything similar. she has got to be the most over rated designer ever in existence. every time she posts some new piece of shit work of hers everyone runs in and says it's amazing. not me though. i let her know what's up. i mean she has her strengths and weaknesses. her strengths being nothing, and her weaknesses being everything.

she sucks.




she's pretty good though. toya and angie > everyone as far as layouts go. trish > everyone as far as graphics.

My favorites are definitely fainaru, Jess (miyashu), Sarah (S-Majere), Whitney, Angeline, Trish, Mark, Dani, and Rachael.

I really like Miyashu's layouts. They have a lot of details and I'm in love with them.

I don't know if anyone remembers but I don't know her name. She was on Xanga but I loved rivendell's layouts.

Damn, how could I forget Mark? He's one of the best designers here as well..why is he not on the list?!

All of those listed are great (I actually created this thread because I'm so in love with Angie's icons XD), but I've always had an eye for Oamazing's and Lanochka's layouts. I think that they're pretty unique.

Do they have to be on createblog? Personally I like other designers over the ones around here. I do like Ricky's designs though. I miss him. I love Mark's vectors and such, his layouts are sweet too. And then after that I don't really know.

Off the top of my head, I'm a fan of Angeline, Trish, Fainaru, Miyashu, Peter (Air), Holly, and superednerd. I'm sure there's more to the list, though.

out of cb "layout" designers it'd have to be trish & roxanne. and although they don't necessarily showcase their best work on here, i know their talent levels and ability far surpass everyone else's on cb.

(current) runner ups would be twilightsamurai, markster, and miyashu, as the organization and aesthetic skills are clearly there, but i haven't seen enough of their work to further critique their skill.

i had other favorites before, but those members are no longer active, and i haven't seen updated work in years. but for an idea of who they were, just check the xotm awards.

^she's a good designer, and one of the more talented ones on this site, but her style is different from the ones that i would typically favor. sure, she'd be in my top 10.

i ranked the three on purpose with twilightsamurai>>markster>>and miyashu as the styles i prefer.

also, i'm not judging based simply on layouts submitted to createblog. postings on showcase booths, personal websites, tutorials made, critique on other people's artwork, etc etc, all add up to define what type of a designer you are. and i guess i've developed my preferences while following the works of the three i mentioned.
