I've never even HEARD this rumor. Only thing I've heard recently in reference to you was about your looks. Then again, perhaps I'm just not in the loop, and that's why I didn't hear it. Besides that, don't you have some sort of lead as to who started the rumor or has been spreading it? Because wouldn't it have been easier to just PM them about it, instead of further spreading the rumor? Just my opinion, though.

Just move on about it and ignore it. The person who started the rumor would probably want to see this happen and get you pissed off.

Well you must have heard this rumor about yourself from someone and I'm sure that someone heard it from a different someone, and that someone heard it from another someone..is that not how rumors start? So if that's the case you could have asked whoever you heard it from. It seems to me most people haven't heard of this rumor anyway so you're spreading it more.
