This isn't BB code, exactly, but I don't think that images should show up in actual image format when they're being quoted. A lot of members are too lazy to copy and paste the image URL and paste that in place of the image (which is what I do; dunno about everyone else), and it'd save admins and PS a lot of trouble in telling people to remove the image tags when quoting all the time. So if there's a way to make it so that quoted images automatically show up as links, that'd be great.

an easy way to do it would be to quote the image, and while editing your post, take out the image tags. you'd be typing in your post already anyway, so you could double click on the "thumb"s or "img"s and press "backspace/delete".

hrm i can't really think of a bbcode that's as useful as the ones already being used. unless you'd want one for videos ;P.

Yeah, that's what I sometimes do, but the members who know better than to quote images either don't know they can do that or are just too damned lazy to.
