Do you let it get to you, personally? How attached are you to cB?

I used to be super attached to cB =\ I got irritated at people when I was onstaff, and I would bitch and moan about it on aim, notably cbc :\ I wasn't sick, but I wasn't well. Oh well, I'm better now :D How bout y'all?

I take cb seriously, but i don't think i would get genuinely upset if someone says something mean, or stupid.

That's why I didn't go back on people's staff when they nominated me for that shit. Shit sucks you right in.

I get annoyed a lot and I complain to Jc about stupid people everyday.

I do take it seriously, and I do let things get to me when I know I shouldn't. The thing is, to a certain degree staff members should take this place seriously, but probably not to the extent that they can't remember why they like coming here in the first place.

It's strange though, this place does suck people in.

Some days are better than others. Usually if I'm letting something at cB get to me, it's because something else is going on personally that sort of affects me globally. So no matter where I am, I'm sensitive or grumpy. I've chilled out a lot though, I think. I try not to take things too seriously though.

Or I'm a bit manic. Totally a possibility.

Yeah, I used to take it more seriously than I should have- the drama was awfully fun- but now I actually mean it when I say I don't care.

hmm, when i was on staff, i took things pretty seriously i guess. but now that i've kinda returned, i try not to take things to heart.

a lot of comments annoy me, but it's one of those things i could quickly shut off if it comes to that.

and by the time i close the window, it's all good.

cB is one helluva drug.

Especially when you're on staff, I think it can get pretty easy to get caught up in this. Some newbies can hook to the community can get attached at first, but it wears off after a while. It's sure worn off on me.

When I first joined, I wasn't as attached to createBlog as I was now, but now I'm slowly starting to try to break the addiction. I find myself on here 24/7 just surfing around and looking at topics I've looked at multiple times already. CB is a really big addiction and it's hard for me to leave because I always have nothing to do on the computer (or at home), so I just get back on once I get off lol. I rarely let things get into my head, and I don't really take things seriously because this is just for fun. :). I used to always let things get into my head and take it really personally, but I've grown out of it.

Nah, the first time around, when I was staff first, sure.

Second time around, uh no. You learn the first time.

Oh i use to be on cB all the time, not so much anymore. I check in everyday at least but to be on here hours and hours like I use to be..no.

CreateBlog is interesting when you have nothing else to do on the internet. It's boring to sit around searching for videos on YouTube, or look for interesting photos, or read exaggerated headlines about death and destruction. Now that I have a purpose here, I'm online much more.

Its be iight. I like it, it gets me busy. There are some pretty interesting topics on cB, sometimes.

I've learned to sort out what I should and what I should not take to heart on cB. And I do have to say it helps wake me up to reality. :P

I used to be into it heavy when I first started, but now...it has become one big bore. It seems as though it is always the same 10 or 15 people posting, and the topics just repeat themselves constantly.

I use to be more attached back in the day, not really when I was a mod though,
I think i liked it more being a member XDD
but after a long long break, i still find myself having this place favorite-ed, and lurking.
Not so much attached but still fun to read during times i'm bored.

There's only one active member on cB that could get under my skin if she tried. I pick and choose the members on this site to get close to. Everyone else is a simple internet acquaintance.

I never took it personally, so much as I just really, really like to win. Don't hate the player, hate the game, I guess.

It's pretty ridiculous. How retarded some things on CB usually becomes the topic of discussion when I chill with Trish and Toya.

no, i generally don't take things to heart. i must admit, createblog is one of the very few sources of entertainment for me, so it's totally worth it. plus i don't think i would still be in to web design if i hadn't found CB.
BUT. there are a few things that irk me every now and then. like when somebody takes a joke seriously and turns it around and makes a deal of it. (not gonna say any names)
it's like you should hold up a "SARCASM" sign and snap a picture every time you say something sarcastic.

That's how I feel too. Mostly, I just lurk around and only post here and there, now. I feel like cB was more fun back in the day...but maybe that's just because I was more active then. It also seems like there was more drama back then too haha.

Drama was fun. Now it's just people thinking one's better than another.

I find myself browsing Createblog all the time but I try not to let it get to me. I know it's not good to be insanely addicted to such things, so I find other things to kill time. But I like the people here, the forums here, etc, it's what keeps me coming back.

going through all the graphics and layouts help me brainstorm and get all creative. then i'm on photoshop making stuff up. or i'm downloading fonts and brushes, lmao.
whats worse is that in my computer class, i don't really do anything. and unlike myspace, facebook, and all those blog sites, createblog is not blocked on the school computers. so you know i'm on cb in school. lol.

its kind of sad. lol. but i like this better than myspace and facebook. so yeah.

I think I'm a lot less emotionally attached. I can go days without thinking about it now, b/c I spend a lot more time with my friends and working on art than I used to. Boredom is what drives me here, and it's also what keeps me here.

It's 5:11 over here, and I am severely buzzed, and still up. If I had a job, I would not be on this site as much...trust!

I never had anything personal directed towards me, so I never felt INCREDIBLY attached. sure I was addicted, but after I took a month off, I came back and definitely don't feel the same addiction anymore. although I do blame my increase in sarcasm on CB. I actually had to quit that too irl.
