I thoroughly enjoy a good hiphop love song. Not a love song about hiphop, not r&b with a featured rapper, but an emcee who is telling a story of love.

It just makes ya boy smile. biggrin.gif

My favorite song, by far, when combining the two is The Light by Common.

"The Light" is a good one.

"Breakups to Makeups" is good too.

Ah, I'll just list some from the top of my head.

"You Got Me" - The Roots ft. Badu
"Seed 2.0" too
"Electric Relaxation" - Tribe Called Quest
"All I Need" - Method Man
"Renee" - Lost Boyz

CLASSICS.

And since I know you're a Nujabes fan...
"Lady Brown" ft. Cise Star (PURE POETRY)
"Eclipse" ft. Substantial

"Lady Brown" ft. Cise Star (PURE POETRY)

The energy that radiates from the gates of heavenly bliss
I reminisce over touch and kiss
While you f**king a bitch I go make love to my miss

I love Hip Hop love songs...strangely, they're seemingly the most intimate. My faves are:
Love Is... by Common, Sunshine by Lupe Fiasco, Undying Love by Nas (it's twisted but I still love it to death), and Bar Tap by Pharoahe Monch

hi-res
One of my personal favorites is "Love Language" by Talib Kweli
