I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this. Move it if you need to, please.

Okay, my birthday is next week. I'll be 18, finally. I want to do something special for it, but I have no idea what to do. I was supposed to go to TX with my best friend, but it was too expensive. I don't want to have a party, because I don't have that many close friends and it would just be kind of lame. So, what are some ideas for what I could do? I want to make it fun and memorable, without spending a ton of money.

I would have a dinner party at my house. Cook all my favorite foods and just chill with friends.

A really nice restaurant with all your close friends. If it's very nice, it would be much fun if it's semi-formal too. lol.

My friend had a dinner party at the Cheesecake Factory, and we only had to wear semi-formal clothes (Black and white only). It was cool though. Then we went to the friend's house and chill (Like playing the Wii! Really fun with a lot of people!)

what i would do is just hang out with your best friend and maybe go out to eat and to a pool hall or something

I suggest either hanging at your house, with your friends, and watch a movie and play some video games, eat snacks, etc. Do you own a swimming pool, or any other sort of recreational device? Then use it. But if you want to go out, maybe go somewhere cool, like a theme park, the beach if that's possible, or maybe just the mall and watch a movie. It's actually better if you're with only a few friends, makes it more personal.

Well, since you dont want to spend a lot of money, I dont think taking your friends out to dinner would be a very good idea, because places like the Cheesecake factory can get expensive.

Do you live near the beach? Maybe get a few friends together and spend the day at the beach! Or even if its a few hours away, it could be like a little roadtrip.
