Wow, i actually thought transformers had better visual effects than did the golden compass.

I find Johnny Depps number of nominations vs number of Oscars upsetting. The man's brilliant -- but Daniel Day Lewis totally deserved that.

Agreed.
I thought the awards were kind of boring this year. The nominations and the winners were predictable. 2007 movies weren't that great to me.

I CANT BELIEVE three Stephen Schwartz songs were nominated for Best Original Song and not one of them was chosen. grrr.

Disappointed that once again Cate Blanchett has been passed up. I'll still never understand why they gave an Oscar to Gwyneth Paltrow for Shakespeare in Love instead of Cate Blanchett for Elizabeth. Just goes to show how retarded the Oscars can be. At least in my opinion it does.
