are people here allowed to date? if not, what excuses do you use?

I'm not allowed to for another year, but I'm allowed to go on "group dates". My friends and I have decided that that means we go as a group then split up. It's a nice loop hole.

hurmm i think in my parents' eyes i will always be their baby..so no i would say never..but they are open to it. my brother never revealed anything to our parents when he was dating until it was serious and when he was like 20..they been together for like 3 years. DAMn

Geez, I'm 19 and I'm still not allowed to date, but that doesn't stop me from going out with my friends to meet guys. All I would tell my parents is that you guys said I'm not allowed to have a boyfriend, but you didn't say anything about not meeting new friends.

I can "date" but I don't because we are all too young to actually go anywhere without parents having to drive us.. So I don't count it as dating..

i'm aloud to date. but i'm not allowed to date the guys i date. lol. i date older guys, and if my parents found out, then i'd be screwed. but since i always see my friend sam and walk to her house and stuff, i just tell them i'm with her.
