Well, i clicked on forums
And a scrolled all the way down
And i saw that it said "Google.com" on the list of people who were browsing the forums
What is that?

Big Brother is watching you.

Google.com is there basically because of the Google ads you see around here... Assuming you don't have an ad blocker like I do (or are there really no ads anymore?). It's where some of the money to run this site comes from. That's what I was told.

There's a lot of these (harmless) bot things. Is there a Yahoo one? There's also like, Archive.org and such, once in awhile.

Ha ha archive.org... You can check out hecka old school cB from there.

The bots you see in the active users list at the bottom of the page are search engine crawlers. They're "crawling" CB to get information to display on search engines - that's how websites get picked up by engines like Google, Yahoo, and archive.org.
