It's crazy because I know people who go there and I get this text from my cousin saying "the uni is being shot up." I'm like what the hell? Then my brother got 5 saying the same thing.

This just blew me.

Ever since VT went down, people are really beginning to take notice of the lack of security on college campuses. There was a shooting that happened off campus at University of Texas-San Antonio when I attended. It didn't get a lot of media coverage. No one really said a thing about it. I've been strapped with a heater before on campus because, even though people pursue their education, shit can still happen.

Its really sad.

what's even more sad is the fact that noone knows about it.

noone cares.

This thing is all over CNN. My prayers go out to the victims and their families.

People know.

They do know. It's all over the English news tonight as well.

Campus shootings are becoming so endemic in America.

This has been all over the news. Just this week there's been four school shootings, it's sad.

It's so sad that school shootings are all too familiar nowadays. I'm a resident advisor at one of the dorms on my campus and we just had to send out messages to students if they needed to talk to anyone about this.
Just so sad.

My friend goes to NIU, thankfully he wasn't hurt. His friend was shot, and her boyfriend was killed.

7 in a week? That's effed up. It makes me wonder if there is going to be anything done to increase campus security.
