Oh my freakin god. Every time I hear them I just wanna jump and throw something.
Am I right? lol
I don't care what anyone says because sure they've changed..
but not all that much if you look at it
And I've loved them since 6th grade...
So yeah. Fellow maggots and even unfellow maggots are fine by me.
I just think a lot of people judge them before they hear them and they only listen to the popular songs. Tisk tisk.

I grew out of my one-month Slipknot phase many moons ago. They're a band for angsty teens to pep up their hardcore image.
Fellow maggots indeed.

Rick Rubin did an excellent job as their executive producer. But I'd rather listen to Converge over Slipknot, anyday.

^ Same here.
I think there's better metal bands out there

I've seen Slipknot live a few times, and honestly, I'm not a big fan of seeing them live. All the times that I saw them they stopped between every single song, which I think ruins the energy. I still listen to them, though.

Slipknot helped me to vent my (negative?) emotions for the past...what, few years? Slipknot listens, I relate. I'm what you would call a die-hard fan, a "maggot" even though I still have a fetish with Chopin, dance to Panic! at the Disco, and play The Fray or Daniel Powter on the piano often.
Maggot for life.

I used to like them when they released the self-titled album, after that I kind of lost interest in them. Corey Taylor is the man though.

I like the song he did with Soulfly. His voice is different now, because he strained his voical cords and had to re-train them. I find it odd that Stone Sour's side project became bigger than Stone Sour.

Slipknot sucks. Off the top of my head I can think of only a few good songs.
