Yeah. I've heard about the Edison Chen sex scandal. I saw it in the newspaper, and my sister told me about how my cousin showed her the pictures of it. This is... um... very interesting, seeing as though I never really keep up with the HK/China gossip and latest news. D: But this one was too tempting to keep away from.

Edit: Ew, I just saw the pictures with my own two eyes, and that's absolutely disgusting. I thought that they would all know better than that, and if they didn't want the photos to be leaked, they shouldn't have even took photos in the first place! But this whole thing is absolutely disgusting, and those pictures will haunt me forever. X__X

I don't know who this is, but I do have to say that people take naked pictures of themselves and "leaking" them isn't a new thing. Remember Pete Wentz? Eww.

i think the main cause of the pictures being leaked was that he had about 1300 of them stored on his computer, and he took it out to be fixed -____- and yeahh i've seen a few pictures too. they aren't too pleasant.

I only heard about this from someone's Xanga post recently. I don't follow HK/Chinese gossip either. I really can't believe Edison Chen wouldn't at least protect those picture files or transfer them somewhere else, then delete them from his computer before bringing it in. There's a YouTube video of him asking people to stop spreading the photos and to stop looking at them, but he sounds...insincere.

I am kinda surprised that nobody on cb posted a topic about this already. Well Edison Chen is a big celebrity in asia and he went to get his mac fixed at several companies but unfortunately he had sex pics in his computer, supposedly about a thousand. And of course people took them and leaked them.

Now these pictures are all over the internet at the moment, it wouldnt be hard to find them.

I feel bad cause he did no wrong doing, and nobody is charging him of anything because he did nothing wrong. The pictures were all taken with consent of the other person(s) in the pictures, nothing was secretly taken.

this news is all over asia, mostly china because a lot of the girls he took pictures with are other young superstars. SO not only will he suffer but they will too. Its really sad but if i had just one picture of myself and i was as famous as he was i would have the decency to hide that much better, lol aka external hard drive. lol

So far 8 people have been arrested in taking his stuff. But i really wish something like that happened over here, lol with someone else and not paris hilton. i already know what her cooter looks like haha.

If they weren't celebrities, no one would give a crap. Why should privacy be reserved for celebrities? It was Edison Chen's fault for being sloppy (if I had that kind of top-secret material on my computer, I'd BURN IT, not get someone to repair it before I got to remove it all), and all the girls were (obviously) consenting.

Gillian hasn't even shown her face yet, which I think is a horrible move. Their shame and embarrassment only adds to the public shock. What's the big deal? It's just sex.
