leave the back layers the way it is and layer your hair
the more layers, the more you can have that choppy look like in the pictures :D
i try doing that to my hair too, except mine is way shorter

I don't mean this in a mean sense at all, but I don't think you can really pull that hairstyle off. Also, from the photo it looks like you have thinner/flatter hair, so keeping the mullet style would take a lottt of maintenance. o_o;; But yeah; imho that hairstyle usually looks good only on certain kinds of people.

On the other hand, maybe you can try just bangs? They'd look good with your face shape. :]
