I'm excited for this movie. Knowing how sequels usually go though, it won't be as good as the original, but the dancing looks good from the previews I've seen so far.

I never saw the first one. It looked corny to me. I am definitly going to see the second. I just want to see if she does any more of that 'shaking' that you see in the trailer. The trailers are way hotter than before. Duh.

that would also mean the money (four dollars and however many cents...ha!) i'm saving for the new Secondhand Serenade album will be gone. but on the other hand, it's kinda sitting around doing nothing, so wasting it on a movie wouldn't be that bad. >_<

Me and my fiance are planning on going to see it for our Valentines Day present to each other.
Of course, it will be Saturday since I won't see him until late Friday.

I like the soundtrack for this movie, then again I liked the soundtrack for the first one too.

These types of movies aren't really what I'm into, but I did watch the other one when they played it on TV. I'm thinking the second one is going to lack plot (even though the first one didn't really have much of one, either). I don't think I'll go see this... unless a friend talks me into it.

I absolutely love dancing movies. I know that the stories aren't always that strong, but I love dance. It's become an obsession of mine. I'll definitely see it.

As a side note, I'm happy to see all sorts of street dancing making it's way to the masses.

Saw it last night! yeah, the storyline of the first one was better, but oh my goodness the dancing was HOT. That last scene with the water...I love, love, loved it!! So good. But yeah, Channing Tatum's appearance at the beginning made me happy too.

HOW MUCH IS CHANNING APPEARING IN THIS MOVIE?! i don't want to waste my $. I'm almost done watching the first one. The storyline kind of sucks, but Channing always has/will be forever hot. The dancing is cool.

I JUST realized that the guy who's Chase is from She's the Man...I knew he looked familiar dammit!

Channing Tatum isn't in this movie for long, but trust me, the last dance sequence was f**king amazing. Oh God. It's enough to make me want to buy the DVD.

There were a few cheesy moments, but what do you expect? It's supposed to be one of those feel-good movies, yanno?

As Steph said, that dancing was fantastical. I was itching to go clubbing when the movie let out. haha

I didn't think Step up had a good storyline at all, but I enjoyed the dancing. Step Up 2 looks like it has some amazing moves in it too, and I'm going to go see it because of that.
