Putting a mac an a gamer tomorrow is quite possibly the stupidest idea ever.

I have a mac But I'm not a gamer.
Those who make the switch now to mac are usually computer illiterate. Like extremely computer illiterate.

Otherwise, other people who have always been on a mac are usually using it for design.. video editing, computer graphics.

So basically, just like with windows, macs suck to certain type of people while appealing to others. Don't hate

For a PC first-timer, just get the Mac...it's more user-friendly with all the flash graphics and big ass buttons.

For experienced users....stick with the Windows. I have BOTH operating systems, so I know what I'm talking about here. Mac sacrifices too much performance on graphics, and the only time I actually use my iMac is whenever I need to load iTunes for my iPod...thats it. Appleworks sux compared to Microsoft Word, and games load MUCH slower on a Mac.

Oh yea...wallpapers are 50x harder to find since i have a "1550 x 990" resolution...wtf?

well, i think it's just becasue you don't know how to design any visual arts.

....windows is still better w/ designing visual arts than mac....mac's got....photoshop i guess, but same w/ windows. same with fireworks. i tried using fireworks on both systems, its much harder to use w/ mac than windows because scripts run differently in mac.

and even if mac was better w/ designing visual arts...thats all it probably has. i go for performance, and a 3.0ghz P4 can wipe out a mac anyday.

mac's are ok. my windows is always slow. i dnt really know what kind of computer is better..... i killed every compy we got. [COLOR=red]

i beg differ, it depends on what your doing lets say a rendering of 3d image using Bryce on a G5.

Yeah G5 Is actually a good processor its just the programming that needs to be done. Not many games/programs are made utilizes the G5's power...I forgot where and on what proggy but in some benchmarking test Apple or whoever makes G5 gave specific intructions on how to benchmark it, and they ended up being the victor in that section.

i watched the one kyro put. hahahahha its funny. although mcs are generally used for graphics design,movie editing, and so on. while windows are used for games. i dont care much for games so im all good with the mac! and linux is good cause its cheap.

Well I've been using Windows alot more. I've come to realize.. There are quite less hacking and viruses that occur when using Macs. True, Linux is the best, but then again, I don't know how to use that. Maybe in the future I shall get one. Why? Because you can do anything with Linux =D You can make it look like windows, but really it will be Linux. =P

But I do like the curvy look and curvy buttons on Macintoshes ahhas funny video kryo and the other guy

It's amazing because nobody WANTS to hack macs. The source code is flying around the internet everywhere. Heck, you probably can google for it.
