karma isn't really a fact, it's more of an idea. and i agree with it... how can anyone say it ISNT real? karma is the idea of good things etc etc, do good deeds and they will be repayed in some way or another. i think life is all about balance
pimpin231

saintsaens
If you say Karma isnt real, I'll say God is fake. Hes an old geezer. Don't say its fake, because Karma is involved with a religion. Respect ones religions.

er...karma?

The total effect of a person's actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person's existence, regarded as determining the person's destiny.

a.k.a: Fate; destiny.

I'm 50/50 on karma. I believe being nice is harder, and it pays off somehow. I believe in reincarnation, but I'm not sure if karma has things to do with it. I don't think that when you do something "bad," it wouldn't affect you later on.

I wouldn't really say Karma is fate or destiny. Fate is... something set to happen in the future. With Karma, it's you who decides what your fate will be. If you lead a life of good, you'll have a good future. And vice versa.

I'm really not one to think about karma. I guess I do believe in it though. Especially if you feel guilty after a bad deed. laugh.gif There are usually consequences when you do something bad and feel guilty about it.

nas is right. karma isnt fate or destiny. its more like you get back what you give. theres always consquences to your actions or causes and effects. i do believe in karma. ^^

Nuff**=)

jaeman
I don't think I believe in Karma. huh.gif
let me post
no i dont. i think that is one of the dumbest theories ever. why? if karma was real than people like 50 cent and jay-z, who were drug dealers that ruined many lives, would not be multi millionaires. good and bad things happen to everyone, its just that if after you do something bad to someone else and something bad happens to you, people call it karma. who is to say that if you didnt do something bad in the first place that someone bad wouldnt have happened to you? real talk
juliar
If karma follows me, I never really notice it. Whatever bad stuff happens to me, it just happens. I don't think, "What did I do to deserve this?!" More like...
"Dude, WTF."
ohnotheydidnt
i get away with almost everyything i guess. i show my science teacher the same hwk everyday and she gave me a 98 because she thought i did every freaking homework she gave me

but i have to admit i got my butt bitten back a few times
not_your_average
i sort of believe in karma. i'm not completely for it, i'm not completely against it.
-lana
hardly, now. as much as i try to be nice to this one girl, she keeps shooting me down.. for the past year. along with many other people.
incoherent
depends on how bad the something that occured was.

i really wouldnt label it as "karma" because bad things are destined to happen. you cant just blame it on something because bad things happen to everyone. there are some strange circumstances that may look like it was a direct result for what they did, but i dont think its pay back...it just, um, happened.
xscore
no, i don't believe in it.

i hate to admit, but i've done so much to others.
and nothing bad ever happens to me. no joke.

vash1530
the term karma is used to justify the consequences of ones actions. If your definition of karma is basic cause and effect, of course i agree with it. What i don't believe in is that karma balances the flow of life. I mean, who measures our actions? God?
hottiebheibi
what goes around comes around
what goes up must come down
that'z what i call KARMA!!!
jooleeah
sometimes.

karma is amusing.
Aoiro
I do, and then I don't believe in karma.
It's kind of hard to explain...
Maybe because it never really hapenend to me.

Karma, to me, is simply a poetic expression of cause and effect; a more romantic echoing of, "You reap what you sow." Spiritual undertones fall apart with a denial of a literal interpretation. Cut out the fantasy and you have a philosophical lesson. Shortsighted or not, it's still more practical than adopting a literal reading of the spirtual side of Karma.

So, in the end, no. I don't believe in "Karma."
angelrevelation
i'm not really sure... of course it works like, if you backstab someone, only think of yourself, etc. you will eventually be backstabbed as well.
but in other situations i dunno huh.gif
steezahh
my destiny will one day be fulfilled. one day.
xangelkissesx
I believe in it. Even if it does come back to you, it will always be in a different form. It might not happen yet but it will during some point in our lives.
mzbbc
karma might exist. because it's like... whenever i point out that someone has a pimple two days later i see somethin there in the same spot on me.

Karma is a belief of the Hindus. There is no way I believe in Karma...I'm not into Hinduism.
mona lisa
I believe in karma. One because it's part of my religion, and two because it comes to bite me in the ass a lot. End of story.

Um okay?
All because it's a Hindu belief [and I quote that it can be part of Muslim] doesn't meant that you can't believe in it. Wow, someone's thinking too narrowly now, aren't they?
Go research your religion before you say anything.
miss barnes
i do..so i try to think about what i do because i don't want it coming back to me.
angela
i believe in consequences. i believe that as hard as it is to do the right thing when the wrong thing looks so good, something good is coming your away. i believe that if you do something you know is wrong, and you get away with it, something bad is going to come along the way to even you out.

Karma is not just a central idea in Hinduism but in many other eastern and pagan religions. Jainism, Sikhism, and Buddhism also adopt Karma as an important part of their central theology and philosophy. Many neopagan religions, such as Wicca, have a more extreme form of Karma with the Law of the Threefold Return, which seems self-explanatory. The idea is even echoed in christianity.

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a
man soweth, that shall he also reap."
(Galatians 6:7 KJV)

So, which one are you "into?"
