What do you think happens when you die?
This may be a little bit of a depressing/odd topic, but i just want to see what people think.
I'm not sure what will happen, i have been a christian but lately, i've given up on god.
It used to seem like he was real because it seemed like he answered my "prayers".
But i think it was mainly because i prayed for things i knew were more than likely going to happen.
Do you belive in the after life?
Or do you believe that we just sort of "black out"?
Or just that nothing happens, you just become "paralyzed" and lay there in pain listening to everything around you?

i'm catholic but i believe that we all will go to heaven. the ones who don't will be the ones who have committed moral sins. i really don't believe that God will judge us & send us to heaven or hell.

I was going to say that same exact thing.
I don't see why it's so hard to believe that if you went from nothing to something you can go from something to nothing.

But, there is a lot I don't understand, like how our bodies are full of energy and how energy doesn't die it only tranfers. So, if we die and our energy transfers to something else isn't that the same thing as being reincarnated?

We don't define ourselves as the levels and forms of energy within our bodies. Generally, and philosophically, when we refer to ourselves we mean what is evident through our consciousness and our cognitive abilities. If not for our ability to recall experience, interpret experience, relate it, and imagine it, we might not have any idea of self whatsoever. But, in either case, in most instances, when we refer to ourselves, we mean an entity biologically dependent on energy, but philosophically independent of (in some instances) even our own bodies.
