How close are you to your parents?

well. my mom is dead.

and my father has strokes and has put my head through walls on multiple occasions.

but other than that, fine...

Not that close with my dad but pretty close to my mom.

not that close to any of them, though they think i am
i tell them about a lot of random things. i try to stray far from teh subject of school, because im not doing so hot. i dont tlak about guy/friend problems. eh, not that close, i guess.

I'm not close with my mom at all, and I'm not close with my dad, but I'm closer to him than my mom.

It's weird to me when adults are still very, very close with their parents. Or other people's parents.

I guess I'm moderately close with both of my parents, but more so with my mom.

I only tell them things when they find out.

I used to tell my parents everything, but now not so much now esp. my dad. Things between him and I are pretty grimey right now. He keeps breathing down my back about everything and it seems like he's everywhere.

My mom and I are pretty good though. I don't tell her much feelings wise, but I talk to her about school, books, politics.

It's hard for me to open up to my parents and since I'm here in the states for college, my parents are still overseas because of the military. I hardly tell them any of my personal feelings other than how I'm doing in school and my financial stuff.

I get on really well with both my parents (aren't I dull, lol).

Still, though I would always prefer to talk to my friends about serious stuff. I mean, I COULD talk to the rents, but it's easier to see eye to eye with your friends.

I am very close to my mom, and I tell her everything. When I mean everything, there is nothing that I don't tell her. We weren't close at all as recently as last month, but we became close as I decided to let her in to my life. It definitely helps to have somebody close like that to talk to.

Mine is alright, I'd say I'm closer to my mom.

I'm way closer with my mom. But still, I don't start conversations about most of the things happening in my life with either of them.

Very close to both. Couldn't have a happier home life I don't think.

I am so close to my mom, last night I told her that the girl I was talking to is bi. Nough said.

and lost their baby
that was 2 years ago and they still act like it was yesterday

but "get over it" it was 1 month into the pregnancy

i'm fairly close with my parents. more so with my mom.
she knows all my friends, at least the ones she remembers, lol.
but she knows that i don't hang with the people that drink, party, smoke constantly. which is probably why she lets me go out more often then before.

but i don't tell her the guys i like. and she knows my boyfriend but she thinks we're just friends for now. she probably knows something is still there, but she she won't admit it. lol.

I'm close to my mom more because my dad just becomes a bitch and ends up having an argument with me even if it was a simple question asked. I tell her funny things that happen and some events and stuff, but other wise i try not to say to much.

Well I started to become more open with my mom when I finally admitted to her that I smoked marijuana. Only reason why I admitted it is because back in highschool I would rarely get A's... then I was introduced to mary jane... That's when I started to get straight A's :P

So once she accepted it... I opened up to her. I will have to admit... what prevents one from being open with their parents is fear itself.
