sorry if this is in the rong forum i was unsure where to post it but i am fom england thefore my school years go;
(from secondary school)
year 7 - 11/12 yrs old
year 8 - 12/13 yrs old
year 9- 13/14 yrs old
year 10- 14/15 yrs old
year 11- 15/16 (you cna leave school here)
6 form- 16 to 18 years old
am confused about the american grades could someone show me ina similar way i have done above

7-8 is usually Middle School and the ages are 13- 14.
9-12 is High School
9th grade is 15yrs old
10th is 16yrs old
11th is 17yrs old
12th is 18yrs old
Then 18 yrs and up go to University.

Weird. Here, it's:
6th grade - 11 years old
7th grade - 12 years old
8th grade - 13 years old
9th grade - 14 years old
10th grade - 15 years old
11th grade - 16 years old
12th grade - 17 years old

I lived in England for 2 yrs we pretty much use the same English except you pronounce and spell some things differently.

Oxfordshire, 30 minutes away from Oxford. But, I went to school in High Wycombe.
