I chose the ARMY for many reasons. College money, sign on bonus, the job they offered me, because a few of my friends did as well and talked me into it. I don't regret the peer pressure to be honest, it made it easier.

Marines I know - 3
Navy - 2
Air Force - 3
ARMY - 60ish
ARMY National Guard - 10ish
People I know asking me about it because they realized they can't get into college or will never be able to afford it and don't qualify for help or scholarships - A SH** LOAD!

I got no such thing in the Marine Corps.
