Drawing/redrawing is very difficult for me. I have tried and tried but the only thing I can draw is anime people.

Naruto, blood-some-thing-or-other, and another one I can't remember the name to. And that have that oi chan, or whatever it's called. That also falls into the anime category for me.

I've seen some videos that people have tried to get me to watch of Akira. I also youtube-ed anime a few times. None of it's funny or thought provoking to me.

try spirited away; i'm you've heard of it, if not then it's definitely worth a try. i'm assuming most of adult swim is geared towards the whole action/fighting thing, so i can understand why you find it unappealing. i'm no expert with anime, but I know that thought provoking anime isn't difficult to find.

Kagome from Inuyasha was okay. Sure she kept shouting Inuyasha's name a lot -- well okay maybe that was annoying. But I thought Lady Kaede was 1000x more annoying. X_X

I kind of agree with Missfits- there really isn't much anime characters out there that are likable. Most of their personalities have no contrasting values- they're almost always similar to each other, personality-wise.

Out of the three animes I've ever watched, I'll have to say Hiroshi Uchiyamada from "Great Teacher Onizuka". He was just so annoying with all his screaming. But he did grow on me later on.

All of my TRULY favorite characters come from those shows. Gene, Melfina, Jim, Kenshin, (well, I hated Kaoru), Vash , Faye (definately a role model), Spike. Never watched Gundam Seed, but seeing as how it's on that list with all my other favorite anime, I might need to give it a try...
