I always hear people complain, "UGH MY LIPS ARE TOO SMALL I NEED PLUMPER LIPS"...but the fact is, my lips are too big. Its totally un-proportioned on my face. I mean, it looks great on other people, but me? no. Its a pain. I have people telling me my lips are too big. ex. My mom blabbers on about it and how my lips are so big, people are scared off. (She even tells her friends)

So the question is, how can I make my lips seem smaller? Is there anything I can do?

I heard that lipliner can make your lips look smaller... Not sure if it's true. Sparkly stuff makes your lips look bigger, so maybe stay away from those.

Don't use shiny lip gloss. For sure.

Lip gloss on full lips looks much better, though. Just a little pep talk there. I don't know of any strategies to make your lips seem smaller.

I love my lips. (: the fit my face well. They're kinda big but I like em.

How about instead of making them look smaller, try to make them compliment your face via licking them a lot. Or wear a goofy hat to draw attention away from them.

But honestly, I have big lips too. Girls tell me that's one of my best features. Big lips = good kisser. Ehh, most of the time.

What annoys me is that my friend has super super super super thin lips and she goes up to her sister who also has thin lips and goes, "WHY DO YOU HAVE SUCH THIN LIPS! I'm jealouss"

I have a thin top lip. Ugh. Neutral lip shades will usually play them down a bit. Also, if you play up another feature, like you eyes, it might help draw attention away from your lips. Just remember, women pay big bucks to get their lips bigger.

^ I agree. Perhaps you should try some pink lipstick or neutral shades to make them look smaller.

Yeah, I have big ol' n****r lips.
But smile often, so that it looks normal, and not too big for your face. Or overexxagerate them so others just think you're goofing off.

You take come lip liner that is around the same shade as your skintone and outline whatever you can of you lips. Then take like lipstick or a different color liner and draw out your lips. You can replace lip liner with foundation if you want.

It's something along the lines of that.

Big lips are WAY cuter than thin lips, in my opinion.
It makes kissing all juicy and guys LOVE them (have you ever heard the phrase DSL, and no I am not talking about a cable modem ).

If you want to attract attention away from them use more eye makeup, that will draw attention to your eyes rather than your lips.

I don't see why all these girls don't like their big lips? Have you ever seen Angelina Jolie? Her lips are MASSIVE and they helped make her one of the hottest celebrities alive!

In real life I don't look anything like pictures, I never have. I do not photograph properly.

People used to think I was mixed in school because I was always tan and had a big ass and big lips.

I'm not entirely sure how to help, as I've neither fat or thin lips.
But yeah, I'd go for a matte and natural look. If you use lip liners,
bring it in a little and try not to go far out.

Experiment with lipsticks and liners. Keep it matte, because gloss is
used to plump them up.

I'm also thinking of a dark red would bring them in noticably.
