Anyone seen this movie yet? I heard it was pretty good. I might go see it when I get the chance.
StandardEdition
no. but i want to. It looks awesome.
MissFits
My friends saw it and they said it was amazing.
I like to wait for movies to come out on dvd before I see them, movie theaters aren't really my thing.
Cristy
I might see it with my cousin after Christmas. I haven't seen any good movies in a while, so :D!
ThunderEvermore
Fantastic movie. One of my favorite Will Smith movies ever, and that's saying something when compared to such successes as Independence Day and The Pursuit of Happyness.
1angel3
Will smith is a good actor so I know for a fact that I am Legend is going to be good. I can't wait to see it.
karmakiller
A lot of people are raving about this. I don't go to the movies often, so I probably won't be seeing this.
S-Majere
I'm so going to see this. I love Will Smith's stuff.
Marlons
I heard great stuff about it today at school. Everybody was talking about it. It sounds like it's worth seeing.
Relentless
It was good. I liked it. It is worth see'ing, I saw it on the 2nd day it came out, and o m g, it was packed. LOL. Had to re-enter my ticket for a different time since I came in late (15 mins earlier before it started).

However, I find the ending kind of quick but it's all good.

You mean like how Bad Boys II was good?

Nevertheless, I'd like to see it since the book it was based on has a good story.

I WANNNT to see this movie. I'm not sure if it's come to Belgium yet. -checks internet menu-

My brother saw it and he thought it was incredible. He even said he would take me to see it at the movies and pay.

DoubleJ
Of course I am going to see this movie, I gotta support the brothas!
freeflow
I want to see it really badly. I heard it was good.
fameONE
I saw it yesterday and I must say; this movie was eerie as hell. Its a warning against modern medicine, although thats what he relied on to save humanity.
ArjunaCapulong
I had some friends see it, and they said the trailers pretty much sum up what you need to see from the movie. I'll probably just wait for the DVD to come out.

Even though I'm not a fan of watching streamed movies, jeez, that works too. =P

I've learned how to be a cheap bastard ever since I joined the military. I'll bite the bullet and watch a movie from someone's handycam versus spending 1800 yen on a movie.
ArjunaCapulong
Ha ha, knowing how to get around like that certainly doesn't hurt.

You get blind-sided by the ending. _unsure.gif

Movie was disappointing. CG was poorly done and the end sucked. Other than that though, it was good.

I agree, I thought the movie was good for the most part. They did a good job of making New York look abandoned. But yeah the NightSeekers CG was horrible, also the male lion looked fake to me.

And yeah I thought the ending was terrible, not so much that he died, but it seemed like there was so much left unexplained.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:

How do I know for sure he found a cure? What if the so called cure reversed itself, due to the fact they never showed that person fully recover.

Who set that trap Will fell into, the NightSeekers or him?

Did those two humans take a boat to get to New York? How did they get there with every possible entrance being destroyed?

In the book there were humans who were able to keep the virus at bay but were also sensitive to light, why were they not in this movie?

Why did the mutation cause the NightSeekers to become sensitive to light?

In the trailer they showed one of the Nightseekers screaming in Will's ear, what happened to that scene?

"Please say Hi to me" was my favorite line. laugh.gif

Now that I've seen this movie, I'm interested in seeing his movie Hancock, looks funny.

I'm answering to the spoilers cuz I'm bored. lol.

Do not read if u don't want to find out.

- They showed the girl that was fully cured, but they did show it partly as it heals.
- NightSeekers (Are they really called NightSeekers? I just call them zombie bytches lol) of course set the trap. That's how they moved the mannequin (forgot his name that Will called him? Was it Carl?) since they were ready near the mannequin as sun goes down.
- Possibly? Since they were from the coast.
- What do you mean keep the virus at bay? Themselves infected or what? But the infected were sensitive to UV Lights.
- Because they just were when they were infected? xD
- I saw this part, when he was inside the dark building. I dunno how you missed it, but damn, my adrenaline was pumping like crazy.

Haha, that was pretty funny (that line).

I also want to see Hancock, it looks funny and interesting. Will Smith is a great actor.

Me throughout the whole movie:
THEY'RE FREAKING REAVERS

Such a rip.

- Yeah they showed her somewhat healed, but I was curious what she would say once Will cured her, or if she could speak at all.

- If I'm not mistaken they called them NighSeekers or something like that. I was just curious about the trap due to the fact throughout the movie the creatures seemed primitive to me and setting a trap of that magnitude didn't seem feasible for them. I also saw some site say Will set the trap but his psychological mind state was so messed up he forgot he set it. So thats why I was wondering about that.

- A boat would be the only thing I can think of. _unsure.gif

- Well in the book there were two type of creatures. Those who gave into their primal rage and then those who were able to control the virus to a point where they could remain themselves in a sense. Despite this in the book Will's character still goes around executing both kinds. But there was no mention of the second type of creature in this movie. I guess there is only so much you can cover given the budget.

- LMAO surely there must be some scientific reasoning behind it.

- Maybe I saw it and just don't remember it. But yeah, that scene was scary, and I haven't been scared in watching a movie in a long time.

Yeah , I couldn't help but laugh despite the fact that Will was looking so serious.

Too bad that movie isn't going to be out until the summer of next year. =[

KC I can't help but notice you chose to use the black bars. Why not white? What's wrong with white?

I liked it, but as Kyro said, the ending sucked. The lack of music in the movie (minus the Bob Marley songs and the ending) was a very nice touch.

I was actually in New York while they were shooting, it was interesting to see it all come together.
xhidethedetails
I liked it but the ending was horribly rushed.

I think his name was Frank?

This movie actually really freaked me out. I spent a good portion of the end with my face towards my boyfriends chest. I even yelped at one part. I mean, granted, I'm a wuss... but like.. monsters like that really scare the shit out of me. It took me awhile to get over the movie 28 Days Later (The one with the monkeys) and I find this movie really similar to that movie.

Well, the book it was (loosely) based on came out before Joss Whedon was even born, so it's not like they copied it off Firefly...

True, but I in all my ignorance resorted to what I knew first.
lovefooled
I thought it was alright.
Joss-eh-lime
i was disappointed.

but i looooved will's performance.

no matter how many times they redo this story line, its not going to get any better

btw will's character was robert neville...im pretty sure.
mycupoftea
hmmm..I never knew I am Legend was a book! So there is going to be a sequel..?
OhMyAnniee
I REALLY didn't want to see this movie. Scary monsters ARE NOT my thing... but my boyfriend was dying to see it stubborn.gif so I finally agreed to go watch it with him.

I actually enjoyed it. Well, everything I began to see the things I just didn't really focus on them.. but I saw them a few times. They're pretty disgusting, in my opinion. The ending worked for me. After hearing about the movie over and over from a lot of people, I expected the ending to be like a horror movie, but I was wrong.

I liked the Bob Marley songs. In the beginning, I thought his daughter was a boy, but then.. yeah. When I saw the trailer for Hancock, the wholeeeee time I was thinking "UHH..... ? blink.gif "

No, it was Fred.

I went to see this the other night and I felt disappointed. My boyfriend loves survival-style movies so this was really his thing, but I agree with the other views - there are too many unanswered questions and the ending is awfully rushed.

This film could have been amazing. The contact with the infected could have been mind-blowing (rather than house-blowing) and I wish more was made of it.
DoubleJ
Will will probably pick up an Oscar nod over this. He is definitely the most hyped actor I would have to say in Hollywood right now, and besides that, he has recently had a string of some very good movies.
jaeman
This is a pretty good movie but one thing that sucks, is the ending. The whole movie was really good up to the last couple of scenes where it seemed like the writer's started slacking off and eventually decided to go on the writer's strike too.
YaGurlSukedMe2SLeep
shit was too different from the book
kimo
I loved it other then the flash backs and the end.
jaeman
When this movie makes its way in stores, they should add an alternate ending in the special features section.
doughnut
I like this movie, it was slightly disappointing because of the rushed ending but I just loved Will Smith.

I cried when he had to strangle the dog ):
