Did the music for Amelie and Goodbye, Lenin!, two amazing movies.
He makes such wonderful, beautiful, upbeat, optimistic music. I use it to wake me up every morning. And each song just blends into the next; I can't turn it off.

The Amelie soundtrack is lovely.
My next favorite album is the one with Shannon Wright (Yann Tiersen and Shannon Wright). I'm not sure whether that's a soundtrack for anything, but it's wonderful.

I love the WHOLE Amelie soundtrack, especially "La Redecouverte", "Les jours tristes" and "Soir de fete". I wish I knew what the titles meant though. I can sort of guess with some of them, but not most. I still haven't seen the movie

Those are "The Rediscovery", "The Sad Days", and "Night of Festivities", I believe.
You really should see the movie.
