Do it, I don't think any one would care. Regardless of what people say, popularity and power can make someone quite powerful and they can pretty much do what they want. If you deleted their posts/suspended them not only would they stop coming back (assuming you just kept suspending), their complaints would probably be overlooked and dismissed as asinine complaints on a punishment that was completely deserved.
