so i bought my mom a red ipod nano for chirstmas this year and i have a ipod video 30gb from my 18th bday. and i was wondering, since i already have itunes and what not on my comp already when i hook her new nano into the pc, will it regonize hers or do i have to something extra (dload anything)? but since i always update itunes and w/e, it should recongonize hers correct?

It should all work fine.

It's all compatable with "one" itunes, if that is what you are asking. Nothing should need to be downloaded except for occasional updates for that device, which is normal, and which you should have already been getting if you've had it for awhile.

I have 4 iPods sharing one itunes, it should work fine.
