But here are the previews.

HD Small

i think the premise of the movie is they come back to narnia randomly and its been a year since they last been there but in narnia time its 1300 years later. so they are already gone. but they wanna find out what happens to them because they land in ruins as soon as they get to narnia.

but omg the High def preview is soo amazing. its taking me like 15 minutes to fully load the preview but its worth it. SO that means i still havent seen the whole preview.

what do you guys think???

Oh nooooo...the first one was bad enough. laugh.gif

Maybe this one will be better, this was my favorite part of the series.
medicineforluck
I actually liked the first one! I loved the book too...most people thought it was boring, but I DIDN'T!
AHHHHH I CAN'T WAIT! May seems so far away. sad.gif
Geek
The books were great. I didn't think the movie portrayed it too well though, but maybe this one will be better.
Relentless
SWEET. I'm kind of excited and it's long way from now. xD I enjoy watching Fantasy movies.

meetooo ! i love fantasy, i didnt even know narnia was the place, i didnt put it together. but yea i guess they come back to it.

this is a question but does anybody know if its the same kids throughout the whole series? im pretty sure not like they have a different story that comes along and replaces the kids, because if they did the whole series those kids would be like 20 years old lol, and like mad rich.
Insurmountable
shweet, I'm so going to go see this. I didn't watch the first movie but I always liked the book the Price Caspian.

I hate how they skip around, they should just do every book into a movie shrug.gif Thats what they did forever ago.

It was? I heard from so many people that it was a great movie, but it just didn't seem like anything special to me. I've seen plenty of recreations of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and I just wasn't in the mood to see another.
misoshiru
has anyone watched the original movies?
EddieV
eh, I'm not interested.

Do you mean the cartoon one or the other ones that they did every part of the chronicles of narnia and it was real people?

I've seen the cartoon from the 70s
and I've seen these:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098912/

i meant the original one where they did every book and with the real people. i remember watching them when i was little and that i loved them.
Insurmountable
^Yea I've seen those. I went to the mountains one time and we carried a portable DVD player and watched all of them on the way up to the mountains. Of course I feel asleep during a few of em pinch.gif
KissMe2408
Love the books to death, all of them. Though not a huge fan of the first.

The preview looks good, possibly (hopefully) a bit darker then the first one. Prince Caspian looks yummy. . . i'm excited about this, def will be going to it.

Aren't they going out of order? I don't know. I read the books when I was younger and wore out the old animated ones. I didn't really care for the first one shrug.gif The only good thing was the effects.
misoshiru
i'm not sure. where does the horse and the boy go?
superstitious
It'll be great because Willow is in it!

They don't go where Daniel Radcliffe and his horse went. I don't think.
Gryffindor-Girl
WOW THAT LOOKS AMAZING!!! I cant wait to see it!!! Plus the guy who plays Prince Caspian is hot and omg William Moseley is such a Cutie.
Macintosh
I just watched this movie and I loved it. I personally prefer the 1st movie though, but Ben Barnes is a really nice touch to the cast.
happy.gif

who else has watched it?

They seem to be making them by publishing order.

When HarperCollins took over the series in 1994, the books were renumbered using the internal chronological order, as suggested by Lewis' stepson, Douglas Gresham.

..But no. I haven't seen it yet. I might see this tonight, though. _smile.gif

This was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed the first one but I, for some odd reason, enjoyed this one thoroughly. Not to mention Caspian is GORGEOUS. Yum. But this movie was pretty good.

OMFEECKSINGGOD.

That movie made me cry T___T;
During the war scene, when they had to retreat, I cried like a baby.

I've never seen so many mystical creatures die in such a short period of time. I'm emotionally scarred. Fohreals !

As shallow as it makes me sound Ben Barnes is probably the only reason I'd go to theatre to see this. whistling.gif

Just saw this. I thought it was great. Although, I like the first movie more simply because I liked the story a lot more.

Oh and Ben Barnes, quite the stud. eyebrowes.gif
Gryffindor-Girl
I have got to ask my aunt to get me into see this movie for free! She works at a movie theater so I get to see any movie I want for free. This movie looks so good!

I visited Narnia last Friday. Fun times.

Incidentally, or rather on a semi-unrelated note, I had no idea this was coming out until the day it came out.
Glamourouz
I was going to see it tonight but I had to see the desperate houswives 2hr finale, so I guess I'll see it this weekend

People only wanna watch it for Prince Caspian. whistling.gif Can't mess with the OG Lion, witch and the wardrobe and their ghetto beavers.

Yeah, so, against my instinct, I decided to watch it. The music is still excellent, as it was in the LW&W, and Peter + Edmund = still awesome. I thought it followed the book pretty well, but then again, it's been about 7 years since I've read Prince Caspian.

That said, I didn't really like it that much. It wasn't horrible to sit through by far, but I didn't leave thinking "wowowowowooww."

IRONMAN, on the other hand... thumbsup.gif

Saw this a few nights ago, ohmigoodness, I LOVED IT. Forgot the story since I haven't read it since elementary school, but watching this movie makes me want to find my old copies of the series and re-read it. _smile.gif Fabulous, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

And yes, as many have said, but I have to say it too...Caspian is a cutie! XD.gif I like!

Same here! The moment I saw who played Prince Caspian, I immediately asked my boyfriend if we could go see it, just so I could have amazing eye candy for two hours.

I haven't seen it yet, although I did get like, five minutes into the movie before my boyfriend's mom interrupted us. So hopefully I'll see it tomorrow on SFC. :)
JustinSezRAWR
I saw this earlier tonight and I'd have to say it was very good. It kept me on edge throughout. How are the books? I'm thinking of going to pick up a couple of them.

I found it funny how Susan's arrows pretty much regenerated themselves. lol
Joss-eh-lime
Prince Caspians face and accent MADE the movie for me<33
but it was a really good movie anyway, and the ending made me a little sad..

I really hated the first of the modern movies... I think that, as odd as it may seem, that the high production value hurt it. I tlos tthe innocence of the books.

Yes, I have them on video, and I LOVE them. Vastly superior, IMO.

QUOTE(misoshiru @ Dec 8 2007, 09:48 PM) *

In the Narnia timeline, it comes between LWW and PC, but can really be taken as a kind of standalone addition to the series... also it would make a poorer film than the others.
