Full Version: When you give a guy your number

First of all, I wouldn't give just any guy my number. I hate talking on the phone, and I hate it when people call me for meaningless things. If ever I were to give a person my number, I'd have a damned good reason or to solidify plans in the future.
With that said, if I were the type to give a guy my number, I wouldn't care if he didn't call me back. People have other plans, and my life doesn't revolve around the phone. I have better things to worry about.

i thought 1 was "doesn't care," not "mad for a little."
i don't give guys my number, and when a dude asks, i turn it around and get his number instead. if he never calls, i don't want to have randomly given my number out to someone i'll never see again.

There's a three day rule. Guys are supposed to wait three days before they call you. Any sooner = desperate much? Any later is probably making you wait too long. I really don't care.

usually if i go on a date with someone we already have phone numbers though.
but a date for me, as in a first-time sort of date, is just a getting to know the person and getting to hang out alone on a more personal and possibly romantic basis.
i mean, if things don't click, then they don't. big deal, it's not like i'm the sort to go way far on a first date. and if things do click and he doesn't call... then i blow it off i guess.

It's okay Elba. That's what he posted in the original post, then he goes around calling people idiots because he didn't clarify himself. In fact anyone can assume that it's a random meeting. It didn't even specify about a date. So really it's the fault of the topic creator.
As for the question - I probably wouldn't care. But I usually have the other person's number anyways. I wouldn't care unless we were to schedule another meeting, but even then, they shouldn't contact me until the day before or day of the meeting.

Long story short.. We dated for a little then i had to move.
