Hellsing is the only anime/manga I have ever gotten into. Are there any fans here?

I LOVE Hellsing, in fact I have a Hellsing shirt. I love the new series a lot more though...

I started watching it out of sheer boredom and I was really impressed by the depth of the storyline (and the violence).

My brother bought me the two remaining manga's I needed for Xmas. I tell you, this stuff is intense. I stayed up till 2am last night fangirling over Alucard.

hellsing is one anime my boyfriend likes, and isnt there two versions of the anime? one version they made because the manga wasnt finished so they just made some up but now the manga is finished they re-did the episodes and i guess they're better, but i've only seen one vol.

That's true, yes. Hellsing and the Hellsing OVA. I like both, to tell you the truth.

I've currently finished Book 5 and I'm not sure I like where the story's going; seems a bit random to me, which is a shame as the first two or three are genius.
