I was cooking and the roof caught on fire. Not the ceiling, the roof. I'm not very good with barbeques apparently.

When I thought it was a good idea to make rice and instead of using cheese, I used orange juice. Don't ask. It was an impulsive mistake.

When I was younger, maybe 9, I once asked my dad how long to microwave a croissant for. He said "15" and for some reason I thought he meant fifteen
minutes, not seconds... And my microwave nearly caught on fire. But it did smoke a lot

Cheese on rice?

I didn't put any sugar or vanilla in my cake.

Hm, when I was kid I forgot the oven mits. 'Nuff said.
When I was younger I wouldn't measure the flour right, so things would come out hard. I wouldn't scoop it into the measuring cup, I'd just dip the measuring cup in. Um, burning stuff... the basic things.

Awww I HATE when that happens. In fact, I was baking cookies yesterday, and they got stuck on the pan too!

Cheese on rice?

It was a Mexican dish. It wasn't like a big stash of cheese all over the platter of rice, just a little bit. I began to get creative and add, like, fruit and then orange juice. It was such a terrible idea.

I microwaved a snicker bar with the wrapper still on it. I like melted chocolate. And it went *spark spark* and it broke.
I microwaved some water and a tea bag. I put one too many 0's. When it finished all the water was evaporated and the tea bag was all burnt and it made the whole house smell like burnt herbs.
Not too good with microwaves ..

i can't cook, i don't cook, and i absolutely
REFUSE to cook. end of story.
ok, maybe it's not.
i kept the toaster on so long...i kept pushing it down just for fun to see if the bread would catch on fire. well, it did, and it also ruined our toaster so the thing was impossible to push down. then we got a new one last christmas for "dad" and we threw the old one off our deck.

^ When I was a kid I'd always put random stuff in the toaster. And microwave. And frying pan.

Uhhmm.. Probably putting something on a still-cooling-off burner. I believe it was a bag of powdered sugar. You can imagine the mess that made.

Um.
I worked at taco bell and caught the back on fire.
I also stacked food too high under the heat lamps and caught those on fire.
I microwaved some arbys in the wrapper once. It killed my microwave.
I spilled hot ass chili all over myself at a party.
I am a good cook, but you need to make a lot of mistakes to be really good.

^ Haha that reminds me when my dad tried to cook: he poured too much wine into the vegetables.
