Watttt
My lover...( I call him lover because boyfriend is too loose of a term at this point) who has HIV (no we dont mess around) (and if we did we'd do it safely stubborn.gif ) anyway he has HIV and he isnt going to live much longer...in fact I havent heard from him in about a week, Which is starting to make me worry. We are very close and I love hin with all my heart. Has anyone else here gone through this kind of thing? knowing that at any moment of any day the one you care about most could be lost in an instant? is so how did you deal when it did finally happen? Please share your input...I just...I just feel useless.

Damn. That's hella sad. Is it a long distant relationship? Couldn't you just call him or something, to make sure he's alright?

I feel sorry for you. I would feel hopeless too if a gf of mine had such a bad illness. Do you know how much longer he had to live? Did he tell you how long he had it? I've never had that degree of illness in any of my girls, the worst thing I have experianced was my éx went in for a liver transplant. But she was fine.

My suggestion for you would be to try to find out how he's doing. House phone? Anything. Friends on aim!

Again, I'm sorry that something like this has come up.

Easier said than done, but the best thing you could do in a situation like this is to not bring it up or think about it, and make his time spent alive worthwhile. Don't sit around wallowing in pity for him; do things with him, and both of you will feel better.

^ I agree.

Instead of waiting on (God forbid) that moment. Live your lives together. Have fun! Don't let that get in the way of how much your relationship can grow.

Exactly. Plus, it seems as if his feelings are directly related to yours. If you do things with him and that makes him happy, you will be happy, too.

This is really tragic and I am very sorry you have to go through this. console.gif

I've never known someone that had a death sentence. If you believe in God I am sure praying would make you feel better.
Like everyone else has said I would enjoy every moment you have with him, not let the petty things get between the two of you, and tell him you love him (if you do) every chance you get. Don't treat him like a charity case.

If you need anything feel free to PM me, and I'd be more than happy to try to help you out.
