okay so i reguarly straighten my hair.. but when i straighten it [bangs and hair closest to my forehead] it goes completely flat..
no body what so ever =

what can i do to make it have a nice kinda flip over curl thing like this =

maybe i straighten it a little too harshly? i don't know.. i just want it all to be straight and have body like that.

if you have any tips/ideass please respond back =) thank you!
babecakes
don't straighten your hair near the roots towards the front. or use a volumizing mousse and round brush and lift your hair towards the ceiling when your blow-drying, so it has a lot of volume and when you straighten it, it won't go completely flat.
misoshiru
use hairspray on the roots.

I agree with babecakes. When I was younger I had curly hair and it would bug me... I use mousse when I blowdry to help with my cowlicks, though. Deffinately don't go over the same spot too many times.

Straighten it with a straightener?

^2 snip off the ends HA!

Even better idea, hold the tips of your hair in your hands at all times. No one will EVER suspect.

Do you have layers?
If you don't, just wait for your hair to grow longer. With layers, it may take a little big longer. A straightener will solve you problems if you can't wait.
