Nothing pisses me off more when a girl trots around school claiming she's fat. Have you ever said you were fat for attention/to see other's reactions?

No, but it's annoying as f**k when girls post pictures on MySpace and the caption is "Ew! This picture is hella ugly." If they thought it was so ugly then they wouldn't have posted it up.

Nothing attracts the opposite sex more than when you put yourself down, especially in an immature stupid way

No. I know I'm not fat, and I know how much guys detest it when girls say they're fat just to fish for compliments.

eck, no. the only time i say it is when i'm with friends, but ima size 16 so i am a little bit on the big side. anyways, me and some of my bigger friends joke about it a lot.

there's this one girl who's been stalking us for three years and she's like a size 6 and goes aroung saying she's fat and such. no, you're not fat, but you are ugly and have no boobs, hunny.
damn that was harsh.

i've said i was fat many times..
of course...a lot of girls think that!!!
i think its kinda natural for us girls to say that
about ourselves because we're insecure..
i think like that alot..i know i'm not fat..
but i just feel fat sometimes...
im a size 3-4-5, i fit around these sizes...
but still........uggggggggggggh...> <
like ya know when you are around these effin skinny girls and it makes ya feel fatter...and oh, when i eat alot...> <
of course that too....
and all of my friends always say, "no!..you're not fat!"
"why would you even say that?!?!!?!?"
and i dunno...i guess it's because i'm skinny in a way, but not
as skinny as other girls are....
*sighs*

I never say that I'm fat. I have no fat and nor can I get fat. I've tried. I remember one time I was eating some cheese cake and I said to myself "Ok fat, please go to my ass.". My boyfriend looked at me funny and said that he never would have imagined a female saying such a thing.
I had a friend who used to say she was fat. She wasn't really fat at all. She wasn't as scrawny as I, but claimed she had such big weight issues and then everyone would feel sorry for her. I hate people like that. I always want to reach out and slap them.

I can't stand it either.
TBH, most girls that say this usually are and are looking for reassurances.

No, because I hate it when people do that. My sister's friend, who is in seventh grade (12 years old) weighs 75 pounds and she tells everyone "I'm so fat! I need to go on a diet omfg". Umm, no? She compares her freaking legs to the legs of a model in a catalog. Hello, the models legs are obviously thinner because 1) ..it's a model and 2) picture = smaller than real life. Obviously..
and it annoys my sister so much. It's clearly a cry for attention.

im gaining weight from always being really underweight and it's so hard being comfortable with it. i pulled one of those lines today when i was out with my dad. he gave me that "oh great" look, lol. he said girls would die to be my size but i would give anything to get rid of my hips. my sister is 24 and weighs like 135 but has smaller hips = smaller pants size.
unfair.

Oh, god, I feel you. I regulate my weight, even though I don't really have to, I become paranoid about gaining weight because I can't imagine being anything else other than my size.

it pains me to admit that, yes, i have done that.
and its not often, but when me and my friends are taking turns complaining about our bodies, we all look for a little reassurance.
i dont see whats wrong with that...
