Yess! After at least two years of waiting (at least for me) Gossip Girl is finally gonna be on screen. Well...the small screen at least.

The CW picked it up and it's gonna be in their fall lineup showing on...Wednesnday nights I think.

My opinion:
It looks okay. I think they could've done better with the cast. Especially Blair and Nate. I like the girl they chose for Serena-wasn't she from girl from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? Also I'm still kinda mad at the CW for cancelling Gilmore Girls and having Rory and Logan break up, so I think that'll keep me from watching this show at least for a while-tangent I know, but I still gotta say it. xD

Anyways...discuss your thoughts about it.

Nate = disappointment. And I can't wait to see them put big boobs on that not-so-tiny (she's taller than Blair, for goodness sakes) girl playing Jenny. And the one playing Dan is too hunky. AND WTF, WHERE ARE THE ROSES! They can't just leave out Aaron! And the baby! That's central to the conflict between Blair and her family. Booooooooooooo.... but I'm going to watch anyway. At least the first episode.

The casting = huge disappointment.

As I said in the book topic, Jenny is going to look so effing skanky like it's not even funnnny.

The voice over at the end of the gossip girl kinda sounds like Kristen Bell.

Serena is nowhere as pretty as how I imagined her in the book. Blair is ok I guess, but the casting SUCKS. I have a feeling this show is gonna make me really sad.
