Personally, 98 % of the books I read are the ones I buy for my pleasure. I read a lot, it's a passion of mine.

I hate school books except one.

i've never been good at reading for school. in high school i wouldn't read half the assigned books. i'd go home and read the book i wanted to and ignore the one i was supposed to read.

because the assigned ones usually sucked, in my opinion

i would read on my own time but i dont know any good books. :/
i hate a lot of types.

I love reading; I have a bookcase stuffed with sci-fi and fantasy books. Everything from Star Trek to Dragonlance to Alien to The Lord of the Rings.

Uni books are a different matter though - Victorian literature? Eek!

I read for my own pleasure. Usually the sschool ones we don't have to read much of it on our own time so yea.

Most of the time, it's for my own pleasure. :D I hate school books, too. IMO, I think because they assign it to us, it's less interesting than it probably really is. Especially with questions you have to answer about it. ;o I hate that.

Most of the time, I read cause I want to. When the school forces me to read books, I usually don't end up reading it. It feels to rushed.

I used to read a lot. Over the summer of third grade going to fourth grade, I read 5 novels everyday. Now I don't read nearly as much. Over last summer I've only read probably 3 books at the most which is a decline when compared to the summer before last summer. When I read, it's mostly the text books for school, sadly.

I come from a family that eats, sleeps, and breathes books(mother's side). One of the reasons I take so long in the bathroom is because I'm reading, most likely. I usually have trouble going to bed because I stay up late reading.

Well, for school we have to have read for pleasure books... we have to read 8 books a sememster and they count as a grade. I used to read a lot more (like before I could drive) but now I'm busy a lot.

It's usually because of a grade. Other than that I don't really have time to read (I'd like to though)

I've loved to read for myself ever since I was a kid. And I don't mind reading for school.

I don't read for my pressure but when I do, you know the book is good.
