Pretty self-explanatory.

I've run into some dimwits in my day but her role on the Newleyweds is beyond a dimwit.

I personally don't think she's as ignorant as she portrays on that show. I have seen interviews where she actually showed some intelligence. I think it's all about publicity and people coming back to see what stupid thing she will say next (well that and they are a cute couple...so the chicks have eye candy just like the guys do). I know her parents handle alot of her serious things, but she can't be a total moron because lets face it...to survive in the industry she's in you have to have some brain capacity.

hm... i think sum of it was for the publicty... but then again she could really be that stupid... i mean its not that hard to be stupid or anything!! but most of wuts happening on the show is im thinking she juss being herself...

Anyway, I don't think she's as stupid as she portrays on TV either. I think the show is fashioned after Anna Nicole's show, and stupid things done by famous people seem to be a trend now (ex: Paris Hilton's show)...

Yah I like her too...She blows away Brittany and Christina, at least in my opinion. She has a wonderful voice, but I always crack up cuz she gets that like rubbery face when she sings...lol

No one who could make it as a rising star would be that stupid. I don't thinks he's actually doing it for the publicity, I think she's doing it more to have fun.

i think she's a moron, but her producers like it... and are making it into a form of publicity... which is working, because i can tell that more people are humming her tunes and quoteing her buffalo wings, and chicken of the sea ..

she's said in an interview that her producers told her to play up the "dumbass blonde" role that was given to her ever since the chicken in the sea thing

there are some portions of that show that seem as if it came along with a script instead of being a reality show...like when nick and his brother "supposedly" wear the EXACT same outfit and are driving the EXACT same car...i think it's all for publicity b/c jessica simpson is actually not that dumb in certain cases

I think she's actually a genius for making these shows. The morons are the ones who actually sit through an episode.

i like her anyways...she has an amazing singing voice and amazing lyrics

Wow I thought no one thought this but myself! I've always thought she did it for the publicity. There was something on VH1 where she played a genius in disguise. It was hilarious. Anyways, she acted fairly well in that skit. Who's to say she doesn't act on her show? Besides, reality TV isn't what you think it is anymore. I believe it was "Survivor" producers that came out not too long ago, claiming they scripted most of it. As mentioned before, I've seen interviews with her, and she doesn't act stupid whatsoever. As for the chicken of the sea thing...perhaps she did that by accident. I know I say stupid stuff all the time. Since that became popular, perhaps they pushed her to become "blonder". Hmm...

Publicity for sure.

She is really, really hot though. And it's rare that someone can have both looks and beauty, but she should at least have the common sense.

I dont think shes that dumb. They probably only show the dumb parts for more ratings. I meean in the interviews she does seem smater than on the show. So yea, the editor wants to make JS look like a fool. By the looks of it, she doesnt care.
